Thursday evening Celina's swimming contingent took the pool at the OHSAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championship Meet in Canton. The top 16 times in each event on Thursday earned spots in Friday's Championship Finals, as part of two 8-participant final heats. The consolation heat on Firday will feature qualifiers 9-16, with the top 8 times competing for State titles.
Celina's day began with the Girls 200 medley relay. Michaela Wenning, Alex, Brooke, and Paige earned the right to swim Friday by virtue of their 14th place time in the 200 rfee relay. Like Matt, the Ladies will swim in the consolation final. Closing out the Bulldog night was the 24th place of the Girls 400 free relay. Michalea, Kandace, Brooke and Alex combined for a 3:49.53.
