Wednesday, February 22 five Celina Divers took part in the OHSAA Division II State Diving Championship event in Canton. The Boys began the State Meet competition with 24 guys taking the board. Collen Byer was CHS's 'Top Dog' earning points good for an 11th place finish. Tye Spengler was 18th, with Leyton Schoen finishing 23rd. For the Ladies Olivia Schlotterer garnered the 11th spot with Dethora Hasenjager collecting 15 place points. The top 16 in each event earn 'team' points. The Swimmers hit the water Thursday 2/23 at 5:00 PM in preliminary swims, hoping to have a top 16 fastest time, which earns a right to swim Friday in the finals.
