Home » General NewsSuccess at CaseMarch 3, 2013 By Eugene Syvrud of Case High SchoolAfter 2 seasons Case High School is in a position that it has not been in in some time. We are currently fourth in the Conference in all sports. The last 3 years we have been sixth. We have sent 10 athletes who have qualified for state so far this year, we have a combined record of 22-5 against the other D-1 schools in Racine. Our boys basketball team made it to the sectional final game and were one of the last eight D-1 teams playing. The girls basketball team made it to the regional final. We have at least 6 students who will be playing in a sports next year in college. Our boys swimming and boys basketball team won conference. I have lost count of how many first team all-conference players we have had this year. We have successfully started a 501(c)3 booster club called the Eagle Foundation and each sport/club/group is eligible to start their own club underneath it. Our Musical Hairspray was terrific and we have increased the number of plays that we have to three other plays include one straight show. We also have set-up a study table and have decreased the number of student athletes who have had to sit for academic reasons. We have had 2 successful videos and our tardies and truancies have been reduced by over 10%. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE PUT CASE "UP WHERE IT BELONGS"
