Cadets finish 4th at invitational

The Cascade boys swimming and diving team finished 4th at the Beech Grove invitational meet on Saturday.  According to Coach Williams the teams finish is not indicative of how well the boys swam. “Our guys had an outstanding day on the stopwatch and that is the real measure of how well our team has improved”.    The cadets had 9 personal best times on Saturday and Jesse Gilmore finally put that 500 swim all together and broke the school record with a time of 5:25.59.

Coach Williams said that the guys are continuing to improve “We took a lot of third fourth and fifths today but we keep improving each week and we keep getting better and better.  I am confident that we can go into the sectionals and can expect to see some great personal performances”.

The boys travel back to Beech Grove for a meet on Tuesday.
