Swimming and Diving Meet

Date: January 26, 2013

Times:  8:00 am- Pool open for diving warm-up

              8:45 am- Diving (6 dives)

              11:00 am- Pool open for swimming warm-up

                              (Warm-up schedule will be posted at pool)

              11:20 am- Coaches meeting

              12:00 pm- Meet starts

Format: Swimming races will be timed finals. Divers will have 6 dives prior to swim meet.

Participants per event: three (3) per individual event, one relay team per event. An individual may be entered in 5 events as a primary or alternate swimmer and may only compete in 4 events. For an individual to swim in all three relays he or she may only be entered in one individual event. Meet day scratches may be made no later than the coaches meeting and designated alternates for that event may be inserted.  Relay entries may consist up to 8 swimmers and the 4 competing will be identified during coaches meeting. 

Scoring: 12 in each event. (Individual- 16,13,12,11,10,9,7,5,4,3,2,1/ Double for relays)

Locker room assignments: Locker room space is limited. Bring locks to secure valuables.

Admission: $5

Awards: Team trophy for boys champion and girls champion, combined team trophy (boys/girls combined scores), medals for first place and ribbons for 2-6.  Most Valuable Boy Swimmer & Most Valuable Girl Swimmer.
