Lady Cadets defeat Beech Grove

Lady Cadets take a tough fought match against Beech Grove showing some of their mental and physical strengths. Winning the match in five games: 14-25, 25-23, 27-25, 19-25, 15-13.  The entire match was intense as both team competed well to the end. The defense was lead by Mallorie Smith with 26 digs and Jacey Lewis with 6 blocks. Brandyce Sallee earned 14 kills to lead the offensive attack. The serving game was lead by Lauren Schmidt with 14 service points and Audra Smallwood with 12 service points.  On top of these notables the girls did a great job moving the ball around with their serve and attacks to throw the Hornets out of system and keep them on the defensive. They also were communicating well and stepping up to help each other out and improve the play on the ball with each contact.  It was great to see the team working hard and playing together.  Come support the Cadets tonight as they continue to persevere and come together taking on the Plainfield Quakers at Cascade.
