Golfers Compete at McCutcheon Invite

The Cascade Girls Golf Team took the road early this morning to compete in the McCutcheon Invitational played at The Ravines GC just outside West Lafayette.  Unfortunately, only three girls could play on this day and the team had to take an Incomplete for a team score. 

While the 5:45 am departure time and 8:00 am start let the girls beat the heat, but sluggish and sleepy were good words to describe their play.  Although disappointed in her round, Jessica Smyth continued her fine play and ended up 2^nd place individually in the 18 team event, which included ranked teams #13 Lafayette Jeff and #17 Western.  She fired a 75.    Also playing for the Cadets were Shelby Baldwin with a 128 and Maureen Flanigan with a 124.
