Cadets place 2nd in WCC

The girls placed 2nd behind Greencastle in the WCC meet.  Final scores were:  Greencastle 150, Cascade 86, Monrovia 85.5, Cloverdale 70, South Putnam, 58.5, and North Putnam 41. 

Nicky Stewart won the 100 meters and set a new school record with her 12.47 finish.  Paxton Ott won the discus with a throw of 107'11".  Also placing for the Cadets were:  Justine Weatherman (4th discus), Regina Solik (3rd High Jump), Paxton Ott (2nd Shot Put, 3rd 200), Nicky Stewart (3rd Long Jump, 3rd 400), Katrina Bell (3rd Pole Vault), Miranda Chastain (2nd 300 hurdles, 3rd 100 hurdles), Hadley Whicker (6th 1600, 6th 3200), Megan Frederick (6th 800), and the 4x400 team of Megan Frederick, Miranda Chastain, Paxton Ott, and Nicky Stewart (2nd). 

The team will compete in the IHSAA Sectional at Plainfield on Tuesday, May 15th.
