CARY - Both of Cary’s swim teams had solid performances on Tuesday at the Triangle Aquatic Center. The Cary girls (118 points) swam past Athens Drive and Panther Creek, who both finished with 95 points. The Catamounts actually won six events, led by the fast swimming of Claire Liu and Henriette Stenkvist.
The Imp boys seemed to dominate, capturing first place in six events, although Panther Creek finished not too far behind in total scoring. Cary won with 120 total points, while the Catamounts claimed second (104) and Athens finished third (81).
Cary coach Erin Stevens was very happy with all her swimmers, who were competing for the first time of the year at the Triangle Aquatic Center.
