BASIC SPORTS INJURY MANAGEMENT

I’m writing you today to invite you to the Second Annual Basic Sport Injury Management Class hosted by The Montessori School of Raleigh. This class will focus on care and prevention of injuries coaches at the Middle School and High School level will experience.  I have enclosed information regarding the class and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. MSR will provide breakfast/snacks and beverages for all in attendance. There will be a one hour lunch break from 12:00-1:00 where participants can go off site or order in.

 

Course Title: BASIC SPORTS INJURY MANAGEMENT                 

COST: $10.00 per person or $40 per school

Please RSVP with the number of participants per school by August 15,2012 with Dave Gehring atdg@msr.org or call 919-434-1402.

Payment can be made the day of the event with a check made out to The Montessori School of Raleigh.

Invoices will be given at the event for reimbursement by your school.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Morning Session is designed to provide updated and current knowledge to first responders and will prepare individuals to recognize injuries and potential life-threatening situations during practices and games. 

Afternoon Session will focus on prevention and care for sport related injuries, with an opportunity to get hands on application of wrapping techniques.
