Lady Cougars Open Classic With Big Win

The Carroll Lady Cougars improved their record to 2 and 0 with a 53 to 34 victory over North White in the Indiana Kitchen Classic at Delphi.  Carroll survived very poor first half shooting as they struggled to a 16-13 halftime lead.  The Lady Cougars exploded for 25 points in the third quarter to pull away from the pesky Lady Vikings.  Kaitlin Ragan led the way for the Cougars with 22 points, 16 of those came in that decisive third quarter.  Carly Kingery and Makayla Jackson each added 8 points while Gabby Evans had 6.  Paige Spesard led the Lady Cougars on the boards with 7 rebounds.  The Lady Cougars advance to play Frontier in the winners bracket of the Indiana Kitchen Classic at 6pm on Friday.
