Carroll Jr.-Sr. High SchoolThe Cougars dominated the Gophers Saturday afternoon by a score of 42-8. Led by senior running back Ryan Spesard, scored early and often, amassing a 35-8 lead at the half. The Cougar's ran for a seaon high 365 yards on 43 carries. Spesard's performance was one for the Carroll record books. He set single game records by suprassing Carroll greart Frank Vega for most touchdowns scored (6), most rushing touchdowns scored (6), and most points in a game (36). He also passed former Cougar Frank McKay for most rushing yards in a game (268). McKay's record had stood since 1985.The Cougars will return to action this Friday night for Homecoming against the Clinton Central Bulldogs. The game will kick off at 7:00.
