Knights match up with Carroll resumed after 2011 was game cancelled due to heat. Early goal off throw in from Hancock found Miller in box for early lead in 4th minute. Several shots from CC sought tie until Page found Thompson at center mid and solo attack on Wiles would get equalizer with 6 minutes left in the half. Knight had 5 shots to 2 for Cougars but it only in a tie score on the board. Yellow cards were handed out to Carroll's Wiles and Gamel.

Willoughby's first goal of season would come early in second half off drop pass from Packard placed in th top corner off the far post for the Carroll lead. Only minutes later, freshman Ben Kuckkan would tightrope the sideline and send in high cross at goalie Ethridge. The ball was bobbled and an effort play from fellow freshman Chris Cardenas would put him there to muscle in the ball when it hit the ground to tie the score again. Weak clearance after off a corner kick would drop outside the box to Willoughby for well placed shot over everyone to beat Wagner in 63rd minute. That would prove to be game winner. Final the minutes, the Knights pushed for an equalizer and an unassisted goal from Hancock off his left foot would give the Cougars a cushion with 3 minutes to play. A final minute goal scored on a release pass from Willoughby to Packard for the final goal in the 5-2 contest. The Knights would only get 2 shots on goal in final half with Carroll being very efficient making 4 of their 5 shots on goal while keeping possession. The Cougars (4-2) will return to action at hom Tuesday night against Twin Lakes with a 5:00 start.
