Home » Football NewsJV Cardinals Defeat Ottawa Hills.October 13, 2011 By Chad Rutkowski of Cardinal Stritch Catholic High SchoolThe Cardinal Stritch JV football team defeated Ottawa Hills by the score of 18-8. The Cardinals battled back, down 8-6 at halftime. Seth Kebker paced the offense rushing for over 100 yards. Julius Nunez rushed for two touchdowns and quarterback Brooks Gasser connected with Travis Rodriguez on a scoring pass. Defensively the Cardinals were lead by Eddie Uher with an interception. Jake Halcomb and Chris Blazevich each had a pass knockdown. Both Kyle Stevenson and Michael Outland had multiple tackles for a loss. Austin Wlodarz had a fumble recovery to go along with leading the defense in tackles. The coaches claimed it as a "total team victory as everyone contributed to the victory."
