Coach Resignations

May 3, 2012
By Chad Rutkowski of Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School

It is always tough to part with good coaches, but in the case of Jeff DeSelms, Head Girls' Golf Coach, it is especially difficult. Jeff have been coaching girls' golf for the past 7 years, and has done a phenomenal job of building a very successful program.  He has provided the Cardinal family with one of the most esteemed and talented girls' golf programs in Northwest Ohio, and for that, we will be forever grateful.  We wish him the best of luck and thank him for being great supporters of the Cardinal Department of Athletics.

Jacquelyn Hodgson, the Head Cheerleading Coach, has stepped down from coaching at CSCHS.  Jacquelyn provided the cheerleading program with a unique approach to teaching our young female student-athletes, and that is something that will be difficult to replace.

All of these individuals have certainly served the Cardinal Department of Athletics well through the years and it is greatly appreciated by all of those involved.  We do not say “Thanks” nearly enough to those that help us in our ministry, but please know that your time and efforts were always appreciated.

A public search to fill these vacant positions has begun, and decisions on both of these positions will be made by the end of May 2012.  Any questions, please contact the Department of Athletics.
