Cardinals shutdown Warriors

The Cardinals opened the TAAC with their first win of the year by shutting out and no hitting the Emmanuel Christian Warriors 7-0.

Mike Blazevich (5 innings & 7 strike outs) combined with Derek Scott and Kelvin Dunaway (1 inning each) for a no-hit game. The offense was led by Cody Kuch with a 3-4 & five RBI day at the plate. Also having hits were Blazevich, Scott, Adam Buenrostro and Ryan Ballesteros.

The Cardinals now have a 1-3 record and look to finish this week with two more league wins. They travel to Toledo Christian on Wednesday and Danbury on Thursday.
