Lady Cards win big at Delta

The Lady Cardinals combined for 13 hits, including a home run over the right field fence by Katie Turski, to defeat the Delta Panthers 8-0. The Cardinals scored 4 runs in the first inning, 3 in the second, and added another in the 5th in the win. Katie led the offensive charge with three hits and a walk. Also contributing offensively were Christy Adams and Emily Lorton each with two hits. Defensively, Katie had 13 strike outs in the shut out and the team played error-free ball. The Cardinals improve their record to 2-5, and will resume play after the Easter holidays on Monday, April 16th against Bowsher at home.
