Cunconan Three Point Shooting Leads Lady Tigers

The Lady Tigers played their first of two road games this week and picked up a 47-37 win at Belton.

Warrensburg improved to 2-4 on the season, led by Mackinsey Cunconan knocking down four three pointers on the night and finished with 13 points. Taylor Geis added 9 points, and Cierra Collins contributed 7 points, all in the second quarter.

The Lady Tigers led 28-18 at the half, and continue a strong perform at the free throw line with connecting on 9 of 13 attempts.

"What I am happiest with right now is the contributions we are getting every night," Coach Bob Rickman said. "In six games we
have had three different leading scorers, that kind of play will lead to good things."

Warrensburg opens West Central Conference play on Friday night at O'Hara.

"Our players are really making great improvements each game," Rickman said. "The team has been asked to make a lot of adjustments in learning a new system and they are doing great with the challenge."
