Lady Tigers Win Home Opener

Warrensburg pulled away with a 10-0 run to end the first half enroute to a 54-37 win against Excelsior Springs.

The Lady Tigers trailed most of the first half until a change in defense sparked a 10-0 run by the home team to take a 28-19 lead at the half.

The fourth quarter the Lady Tigers pulled away with a 17 point victory.

"We played with a lot more intensity tonight, that was a huge difference for us," Rickman said.

"Anytime you get multiple players involved in the scoring, it makes winning much easier," Rickman said.

Five players scored 7 points or more, including 13 by Jessica Tiller and Taylor Geis added 12.

Warrensburg travels to Nevada on Friday evening for a Junior Varsity and Varsity contest.
