JV Football Takes Down The Rock

Bulldog BroadcastingThe Kearney junior varsity football team took on the Rockhurst High School Hawklets Monday. The Dogs sent the Hawklets packing, 34-6.
The Bulldogs scored touchdowns on their first three possessions to take a 21-6 lead at halftime.
Scoring in the first half:
Justin Wermelskirchen rushing touchdown
Grant Leeth two rushing touchdowns
Clay Brown 3 successful extra point attempts
Second half scoring:
Austin Hinck throwing to Dalton Channing
Grant Leeth rushing touchdown
Clay Brown converted one successful extra point
Defensively Kearney forced and recovered two fumbles. Mitch Broughton had two interceptions on the day.
Your JV Dogs will travel to Smithville next Monday.
