Bulldog BroadcastingThe Kearney junior varsity beat Staley, 12-7, Monday night.
The defense had a shut out going until the Falcons scored with about a minute left.
Staley took the opening kickoff and ate up almost the entire first quarter; however, the Bulldogs defense held them out of the endzone. The Falcons tried a field goal that was blocked. Anthony Roberson cuaght the block and returned it 101 yards for a touchdown.
Also scoring for the Dogs was Grant Leeth on a 2-yard run.
The sophomore game followed with a 24-6 win.
