St. Joseph Central proved to be just a little too much for the Kearney tennis team. The Bulldogs fell to the Indians, 7-2.
Paul Nurse nabbed the Dogs' lone win in the six singles matches. Nurse plays as Kearney's number 1. He teamed with Cody Nellums in doubles to get Kearney's other win.
Kearney is not finished with Central.
"We will see St. Joe Central again at Districts in mid May," Coach Suzan Trotter said.
