The Bulldogs were not intimidated on the Blue Jays home court and held a 10 point lead going into the half. Leading the scoring for Kearney in scoring was Cassidy Lee. She knocked down 4 three pointers for a game-high 12 points. Taylor Doan chipped in 10 points and was a presence inside blocking or altering several shots. Mackenzie Cook added 9 points to the cause. Meagan Paul hit 3 first quarter three pointers finishing with 9 points. "This was a great team win with several players giving valuable minutes off the bench," Coach Troy Ressler said. "Come out and support this group of girls as we host the bitter rival Staley Falcons," Ressler said. "There will be a Toy Drive for this game for Children’s Mercy. If you are able to bring a toy for a great cause, it would be appreciated." The varsity game will also be broadcast on the Bulldog Broadcasting Network at around 7 pm. The junior varsity lost 40-27. Paige Weakley led the scoring for the Bulldogs with 15 points. The JV saw their record slip to 5-2 on the year.
