Goodbye Ironman, Hello Kansas City Stampede

December 13, 2012
By Sean Mael of Bulldog Broadcasting

Kearney's Varsity wrestling team heads from the toughest tournament in the country (Ironman) last week to the 8th toughest tournament last year this week (Kansas City Stampede). This second huge tournament in a week's time provides an excellent opportunity for a Dogs team ranked 30th in the country according to Intermat to improve their standing in national circles.

With seven of the countries top 50 teams and 18 ranked individuals, this tournament should be a meat grinder. It should also be an opportunity for the Bulldogs' grapplers to increase their presence in the national rankings.
