Dogs Drop Tough Game

Bulldog BroadcastingThe Kearney boys basketball team lost a tough game, 40-34, to St. Pius Friday in the third place game of the Liberty North Tournament.
Leading the way in scoring for the Bulldogs was Dray Starzl with 13 points, followed by Tanner Owen with 11 points.
The Bulldogs next see action Wednesday at the Hy-Vee Shootout at Avila University. Kearney plays Shawnee Mission West at 5:30 pm.
Dray Starzl was selected to the Liberty North All-Tournament Team.
Daniel Hanson was selected to the Liberty North Academic All-Tournament Team.
