Dogs Sweep Staley, Rockhurst

The 24th Nationally ranked Kearney Bulldogs traveled to Staley Tuesday for a double dual showdown with the Rockhurst Hawklets and the Staley Falcons.  

The Dogs ran their dual record to 7-0, with two convincing wins.  

In the first dual the Dogs beat the Hawklets 51-15, winning 10 of 14 matches.  

In the second fight of the night the Dogs beat Staley 39-24 by winning 9 of 14 matches.

"Thanks for the great crowd last night at Staley," Coach Chad Hopkins said.  "It is very nice when the visiting school can drown out the cheers of the home fan base.  So thank you from Kearney Wrestling."

Up next for the Dogs is a date in Cleveland Ohio for the Nationally prestigious Ironman this Friday and Saturday
