Kearney High School ended up with an All State Honorable Mention 200 Free Relay Team. Tyler Thorne, Eric Baldwin, Elias Amparano, and Jarod Keller swam Saturday in the finals at the state meet and finished the season with a best time and a 14th place finish. This is the first time since 2007 that Kearney has swam at finals.

The team finished 40th out of 64 schools with over 500 swimmers.

Amperano finished 24th in both the 200 IM and 100 fly. Thorne finished 38th in 50 Free. Adam Lechner finished 36th in 100 Breast.

Kearney finished 23rd in the Medley Relay breaking the school record set in 2006.

The 400 Free relay swam their 2nd fastest time of the year still under the previous school record set in 1996 and finished 33rd.
