Swimmers Third At Quad

Bulldog BroadcastingKearney swimmers finished 3rd in their quad meet in Liberty Tuesday. The Dogs did defeat conference rival Liberty North.
Elias Amaparano finished 3rd in the Fly and 4th in the Back. Tyler Thorne added a 5th place finish in the 50 Free.
Eric Baldwin finished with a 6th place finish in the 50 Free and 7th in the 100 Back. Jarod Keller finished 7th in the 100 Free.
Trevor Woehrman added a 7th place finish in the 500 Free.
The 200 Free Relay (Amaparano, Thorne, Baldwin, and Keller) finished 3rd just one second off the state cut.
The Medley Relay (Thorne, Adam, Amaparano, and Keller) finished 4th and the 400 Free Relay (Jake Daugherty, Justen Thurman, Adam, and Baldwin) finished 7th.
The team recorded 15 personal bests.
Next meet is the Raytown Invitational on Friday.
