Bulldog BroadcastingThe Kearney girls soccer team has the chance for a little payback. The Bulldogs earned that right with a 1-0 victory over Staley in the district semifinals, Monday.
That sets up a championship game with Liberty on Wednesday. The Blue Jays are one of two teams that managed to beat the Dogs this season.
Staley used a packed in defense to try and limit Kearney's looks at the goal. However, Jordyn Knox managed to slip through and get the winning score.
The championship game is at Park Hill South at 6 pm Wednesday.
The Dogs head into the final with a record of 23-2.
