Bulldog BroadcastingThe Kearney girls soccer team made it a clean sweep in the Kansas City Suburban Blue Conference. The Bulldogs beat Liberty North, 2-1, Thursday to go 10-0 in league play.
Jessi Hartzler scored both Kearney goals.
The Dogs finished the regular season with a 22-2 record. The only losses coming to Liberty and St. Theresa's.
Kearney begins district playoff action Monday at Park Hill South, 6:45. They take on the winner of the Staley vs. St. Joseph Central first round game. Kearney has beaten Staley twice this season and Central once.
The junior varsity won 1-0 on a goal from Elizabeth McQueen. The Dogs finish their season 17-1-1 .
The jv gave up only six goals.
