Home » Boys' Golf NewsRunaway Titles For GolfersApril 24, 2012 Bulldog Broadcasting There was little doubt about who dominated Suburban Small 6 Conference golf Monday. Once all matches were completed at Eagles Landing Golf Course in Belton, the Kearney Bulldogs were conference champs. Adam Lechner’s 79 earned him a tie for third place with teammate Luke Parker. Jake Gibbs shot an 83 and took home 6th place. Pierce Moling rounded out the Bulldog’s All-Conference team with an 85 that was good enough for 9th place. The junior varsity also bested the rest of the Suburban Conference with a team score of 355, six strokes better than the second place Staley Falcons. Matt Thompson finished eighth with a 93. John Griffin’s score of 100 placed him 14th. The varsity Bulldogs are back in action Wednesday as they compete for a district golf title at Smithville’s Paradise Point Country Club.
