The Kearney boys golf team hosted a varsity/junior varsity dual Wednesday at Liberty Hills.

"It turned out to be a beautiful day for golf," Coach Chad Fleming said. "The Dogs took advantage . . . throwing up some nice scores."

The varsity beat Fort Osage 158-169. Adam Lechner was medalist after a round of 37.

Luke Parker shot a 39. He was followed by a 41 from Camrin Nissen, Pierce Moling, and Jake Gibbs.

The junior varsity also had a good showing winning 173-190.

Daniel Reeves was the medalist with a 41.  Others solid scores for the Dogs were Logan Howell (42), Matt Thompson (43), John Griffen (47), and Lucas Leach (50).

Next action for the boys is the Suburban Conference tournament Monday at Eagles Landing Golf Course.
