Griffons Beat Dogs On Tie-Breaker

Bulldog BroadcastingThe Kearney boys tennis team lost another tough match Monday at Winnetonka.
After finishing the initial rounds of play, the modified score was 5-5, but the Dogs would lose the match on the tie-break formula 5-4.
Winning for the Dogs: Dan Hanson #4 singles, Austin Hayward #6 singles, Alex Meinders #7 singles, Kyle Demint and Austin Hayward at #2 doubles, plus Dan Hanson and Jake Rath at #3 doubles.
The junior varsity also lost their match 5-4.
Next will be Truman in Independence on Wednesday, followed by NKC on Thursday and Blue Springs at home on Friday.
