Golfers Third At Shoal Creek

Bulldog BroadcastingThe Kearney boys golf squad took to Shoal Creek Golf Course Thursday and put up their best performance of the year.
Playing without sophomore Adam Lechner, the boys shot a team total of 311, a 14 shot improvement from their previous best score of the year. Freshmen Pierce Moling took fifth overall in the tournament firing a +2 73.
Seniors Camrin Nissen and Logan Howell also both played extremely well, both shooting 77’s.
The 311 was good enough for third place overall in the tournament behind Blue Springs South and Park Hill South.
The boys next action is Monday as they travel to Drumm Farm for a 9-hole quad with Truman/Blue Springs South/Staley.
