Dogs Drop Season Finale

Bulldog BroadcastingThe Kearney basketball team battled all night but came up short in a 59-56 overtime loss to Liberty North Friday.
Dray Starzl led the Bulldogs in scoring with 19 points. Eric Farley added 14 points and Alex Prewitt chipped in 10 points.
The Bulldogs will open Class 5 District 14 tournament action at William Chrisman on Thursday, February 23, at 7 pm. They will take on the winner of Liberty vs. William Chrisman.
"Our seniors, our team, and our coaches would like to thank the student body, faculty, parents, and community for their tremendous support last night and every night throughout the season," Coach Gary Belcher said. "We hope to see everyone at Chrisman next Thursday."
