Track Results from Wauseon Dual and OG Invite

The track & field teams were swept by Wauseon Thursday night at Wauseon. The girls lost by a score of 105.5 -45.5.  Annie Kerr was the lone individual winner in the pole vault at 7’6”. The 4x400 relay team of Mykenzi Greenler, Makayla Cordell, Morgan Tinkel, and Hannah Purk placed first.

The boys lost by a score of 75-62. Individual winners were Brandon Poncsak in the 110 hurdles, Alex Dolan in the 100, Kenny Beucler in the 300 hurdles. The 3200 race was swept by Levi Carr, Jacob Will, and Jordan Spiess. The 4x800 relay team of Jacob Will, Michael Sheridan, Evan Morr, and Levi Carr won, as did the 4x200 relay team of Jordan Armbruster, Mitch Kuhn, Henry DeLeon, and Alex Dolan. The 4x100 team also won, consisting of Mitch Kuhn, Brock Minor, Alex Dolan, and Brandon Poncsak. 

The Track & Field teams competed in the 49th annual Ottawa Glandorf Gold Medal Relays on Saturday. The girls team finished in 9th place, with Annie Kerr tying for 4th in the pole vault, Kayla Nemire 6th in the long jump, Merissa Taylor 6th in the 100, and the 4x100 relay of Merissa Taylor, Kayla Nemire, Morgan Tinkel, and Hannah Purk also in 6th place. The boys team finished 6th in a highly competitive field with a total of 55 points. Brandon Poncsak was a double winner in the 110 and 300 hurdles. Finishing 2nd was Levi Carr in the 800. Finishing in 3rd was Kenny Beucler in the 300 hurdles, and the 4x100 relay team of Daniel Pendergrast, Alex Dolan, Brock Minor and Brandon Poncsak. Finishing in 4th was the 4x800 relay team of Jacob Will, Michael Sheridan, Evan Morr, Levi Carr, and Dakota McNany in the high jump. 5th place finishers were Alex Dolan in the 100, Michael Sheridan in the 3200. 6th place finishers were the 4x400 relay team of Logan Deel, Evan Morr, Brandon Poncsak, and Kenny Beucler, Levi Carr in the 1600, and Kenny Beucler in the 110 hurdles.
