Winter Athlete of the Week - Week #9

Taylor Rickard, Bowling

Taylor led her team to a 3rd place finish in the Redskin Bowling Tournament at Port Clinton. There were 19 teams in the tournament and 95 bowlers. Taylor bowled a 200, 220 and a 205 for a 625 series. Taylor finshed first place in singles and was the only girl with a 600 series.

Jake Jones, Basketball

Jake helped the Varsity Boys basketball team to two big victories over the weekend. Jake stepped up defensively in the overtime period against Delta that helped to propel the Golden Bears to a huge NWOAL victory. Then Jake came off the bench on Saturday and provided a spark both offensively and defensively in helping to lead us to a tough road win over Hicksville. Jake scored 10 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, dished out 3 assists and had 2 steals in the victory over the Aces.
