The Lady Bears won their meet, defeating the Cougars 87-69.
Once again, the Lady Bears were dominant in the relays. The 200 medley relay team of Jo Jo Rode, Lauren Chaney, Olivia Smith and Annika Shaffer won with a time of 2:13.61. The 400 freestyle relay of Shaffer, Courtney Rode, Jo Jo Rode and Chaney won at 4:23.45.
Individual winners were Shaffer in the 200 freestyle, Chaney in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, and Jo Jo Rode in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Addy Kuhn won the diving event with a total score of 140.55.
In the boys meet, Southview defeated Bryan by a score of 103-71.
Bryan’s Eliot Pitman, Greyson Spangler, Bryce Alabata and Matt Frame won the 200 medley relay in 2:06.12. The 400 freestyle relay of Hayden Hageman, Shea Vogelsong, Bobby Kimble and Michael Sheridan was also victorious with a time of 4:27.36.
First place finishers for the Golden Bears were Alabata in the 50 and 100 freestyle, Sheridan in the 200 IM and Spangler in the 400 freestyle.
