Home » Cross Country NewsBoys Cross Country wins NWOALOctober 16, 2012 By Chris Malanga of Bryan High SchoolThe Bryan Cross Country teams had a successful Saturday at the Northwest Ohio Athletic League (NWOAL) meet as the boys won the league and the girls finished third. Bryan finished with an average time of 17:18. Pacing the Bears was Lucas Will, who finished sixth overall with a time of 16:51. Other Bryan runners were: Evan Moor (8th, 17:00), Sheldon Struble (12th, 17:20), Brandon Krupp (15th, 17:36), and Michael Sheridan (18th, 17:45). The Lady Bears finished third in their meet, with an average time of 21:54. Kennedy Dick led Bryan, finishing 13th overall with a time of 21:37. Other Lady Bears scoring points were: Ruth Ritchey-Moore (16th, 21:41), Lauren Taylor (15th, 21:47), Lauren Chaney (16th, 21:48), and Audrey Bowers (24th, 22:40). Both teams will be in action at Districts this Saturday at Galion. The boys run at 1:00, and the girls run at 3:45.
