The score was tied 0-0 at half-time, and with 20 minutes remaining the game, the score was still 0-0 when play was interrupted due to lightning and thunder storms. When play resumed and with 10 minutes left, Bryan got on the board when Cole Andres scored, assisted by Kyle Rupp, making it 1-0. Then, with 4 minutes remaining, Adam Gorzelanczyk scored an unassisted goal to finish the scoring 2-0. The Bryan defense resisted many drives by Defiance to get on the board but held them scoreless. Bryan returns to action at Continental Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 5:00.
