Bryan defeats Evergreen by 28 strokes

The Bryan Golden Bears Golf team defeated the Vikings of Evergreen 164-192 Monday at Orchard Hills Country Club.  All of the Bryan golfers had better scores than the best Evergreen golfer.

The Bears were led by Luke Shaffer, who had the lowest score among all golfers with a 38.  Bryan's other golfers included Shea Vogelsong, David Miller, and Bailey Martin (all with 42), as well as Justin Guisinger (43) and Jaret Miller (45).

Evergreen's low scorer was Jordan Good (46).  Other golfers included: Zack DeBruyne (48), Clayton Kreuz (49), Daniel Yunker (49), Ethan VanLoocke (53), and Brandon Krempec (54).

Bryan also won the JV match by a score of 222-252.

Bryan JV golfers were Dominic Mejia (46), Joshua Hagadorn (56), Jonathan Hagadorn (57) and Tres Loyd (63).

Evergreen JV golfers included Landon Lumbreezer (52), Alex Regan (56), Nick Lewandowski (69) and Nate Herr (75).

Bryan's next match is Thursday against Swanton at Orchard Hills.
