The Bryan Girls Tennis Team nearly pulled off a huge upset at Sylvania Northview on Thursday evening but fell just short as the Lady Wildcats outlasted the Lady Bears 3-2.

 

Three matches went into three sets as the second and third singles as well as the second doubles matches all went the distance.  Northview captured two of the contests while Bryan was able to take one.

 

Bryan captured the top two singles matches as Linda McDonagh (5-2) won in straight sets at first singles.  After dropping the first set 6-1, Bryan's Tiffany Short (6-1) rallied to take the next two sets at second singles to give the Bears their two points.

 

Mariah Stambaugh, Kendra Wheeler, and Mikayla Borland won their JV matches.

2nd - Abby Ciucci/Heather Dorner (N) def. Sydney Snider/Jessica Wittler (B): 6-3, 3-6, 6-2
