As we move forward with the volleyball program it is important to schedule tough matches against top competition which will ultimately raise our level of play. With this in mind the lady cougars will be participation in the Royse city tournament which is one of the best in our region. Our non district schedule was made to prepare our team for tough district play and returning players Tymple Freeney, Kaneshia McCormick, Ericka Hobson, Samantha Gonzalez, Quonese Perkins and Michelle Wainwright are more than up for the challenge. Our expectations are high not only for next year, but to establish a quality volleyball program for years to come. So please come out and support your team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! High school athletics is a privilege and as such, it is earned. Students who choose to participate need to understand the responsibilities of being a student athlete. Student athletes accept the challenge of balancing academics with sports and excelling in both. Lady Cougars take this mission very seriously because they understand their place as role models within our school. These responsibilities are not easy, but the life lessons learn such as time management skills, responsibility, leadership and accountability will last a life time. This is what it means to be a LADY COUGAR.
