Carlos Castillo was the winning pitcher. The Cougars were led at the plate by Mason Buhrkuhl and Jonathan Patino, who each had a double, while Stanton Lohrengel added two hits and three RBIs. The Cougars begin the second half of district play on Tuesday at 4:30 pm at Thomas Jefferson.
