Overtime Thriller: Bronx CC vs. Dutchess CC

February 5^th, 2013 – Historic Alumni Gymnasium Bronx, NY-

The Bronx Community College Lady Broncos played host to the Dutchess Community College Lady Falcons in a Region 15 Women’s Basketball clash.

The game started slowly for both teams as the Bronco’s went in to halftime down 14-19.

At the intermission there was some fun to be had as Bronx Community College and Modell’s Sporting Goods sponsored a Dress- a-Dribble Contest as the teams received their halftime talks.

Play resumed as both teams came out to the court. The Lady Broncos had a terrific second half as the game went into overtime.

In overtime, the Lady Broncos had a stunning performance as # 3 Anismery Blanco fired the Lady Broncos to victory with a last second jump shot that found its way into the back of the net.

On top of that incredible shot, Blanco also led the Lady Broncos in scoring for the game with 25 points, as the Lady Broncos won 57-55.
