Home » General NewsStudent Athlete Guide to Bronx Community College Fall 2012 SportsJune 25, 2012 BRONX COMMUNITY COLLEGETo assist you in planning for the Fall 2012 semester, student athletes are encourage to contact the Athletics office at (718) 289-5338 for eligibility and behavior requirements, conditioning requirements and team tryouts rules and time commitments. To succeed, you need to be organized and be motivated to make a commitment to work hard to prepare yourself for high level athletic competition in your sport and to boost your grades in your classes. To be considered, first year students must be enrolled at Bronx Community College for 12 credits. Second year students must be enrolled for 12 credits and meet standards of grade point average and credits completion. In addition, each student athlete must complete a physical examination. There are weekday and weekend games. There is travel involved in the New York City area and to suburban Long Island and lower New York State counties. The weekend games is an all day activity involving playing several games against different opponents at one location. There is travel involved in the New York City area and to suburban Long Island and lower New York State counties.
