Ashley Armand represented Bronx Community College in all Women’s Cross County competitions during the fall 2011 season. Ms. Armand, from Queens, NY, is a 2nd Year student majoring Early Childhood Education. She graduated from Martin Van Buren High School in Queens, NY. Here are Ms. Ashley Armand Cross County Country accomplishments: First Place in the CUNY Athletic Conference Women Cross Country Individual Championship in the 6 Km. race with a time of 24:40. This time is the third faster in the race history. First Place in the NJCAA Division III Region XV (Lower NY Region) Cross Country Individual Championships in the 5 Km race with a time of 18:41. Second Place (Runner-up) in the NJCAA Division III National Championships with a time of 18:41 for the 5 Km race.
Honors awarded to Ashley Armand were: Selected CUNY Athletic Conference / U.S. All Stars. Selected to NJCAA Region 15 All Region Team and Individual Champion. Selected NJCAA Division III Women’s Cross Country FIRST TEAM ALL- AMERICAN. Ashley Armand excellent running abilty and skills leading a race.
