April 25, 2012
By Jacob Duncan of Boylan Catholic Broadcasting

The Titans were visited by Belvidere on Monday for their 5th NIC-10 conference game. Boylan started off strong with five runs in the first inning, including a homerun by Bryan Engelsen. This continued into the second inning adding ten runs to their score and two more in the third.

Belvidere, on the other hand, was held scoreless as Joe Kubera threw a four inning shutout, including five strikeouts and only four hits.

Adonis Brown was also noted as a highlight player of the game, batting 2-3, with a two base hit and 3 RBI. Engelsen's record was 2-2 batting, two runs, a homerun, and 4 RBI. This dominance allowed Boylan to beat Belvidere with a final score of 17-0, leaving them with a still perfect record of 5-0 in conference, and 12-7 overall going into Tuesday's game against Woodstock Marian.
