They competed at Harlem High School in Machesney Park. The top four teams were Harlem with 250 points, Hononegah with 200 points, Freeport with 104 points, and Boylan with 102 points.
Joey Bertolino from Boylan pinned Arias from Belvidere in 4:51. Michael Difrancisco from Boylan pinned Dodson from Freeport in 5:29. Ryan Johnson from Boylan pinned Benkovich from Hononegah in 2:28. Anthony from Harlem pinned Ryan Barelli from Boylan in 1:52. Northup from Harlem maj. Dec. Bulter from Boylan (18-4). McGuire from Boylan maj. Dec. Griffin from Auburn (16-3).
The Titans will be competing in Dekalb, IL for Regionals this week. They will be competing in class 2A with a number of schools. They include: Belvidere (H.S.), Belvidere (North), Burlington (Central), Dekalb, Maple Park (Kaneland), Rockford (Boylan Catholic), Rockford (East), and Sycamore (H.S.).
