Bobcats use big third inning to beat Clark County, 11-0

An eight-run explosion in the third inning hoisted Bowling Green Bobcats Varsity to an 11-0 win in six innings over Clark County at Monroe City on Saturday.

Bowling Green Bobcats Varsity scored in the third on a walk by Austin Noble, a two-run single by Corey Brown, a two-run single by Ashton Oberman, a walk byAlex Roy, and a two-run single by Darren Feldewerth.

 

David Goddard had two extra-base hits for Bowling Green Bobcats Varsity. He doubled in the first and sixth innings.

 

 

Corey pitched lights out for Bowling Green Bobcats Varsity. Brown gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six during his 4 1/3 innings of work.

 

Bowling Green Bobcats Varsity's Darren, David, Corey and Alex combined for nine hits and eight RBIs.

#11 was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out three.

The game's last lead went to Bowling Green Bobcats Varsity thanks to a first inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on an RBI double by Alex.
